Shri Madhukar holds Master of Arts in Economics and Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and also undertaken courses on Project Management, Human Resource Development (HRD) from Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, Indian Institute of Management, Kolkata and International Management Institute, New Delhi.
Shri Madhukar possess vast and substantial experience and exposure in the field of Banking, Finance, Policy, Administration and Governance in various Government and the Private Sector for almost four decades including serving as the Chairman & Managing Director of United Bank of India, Government of India and also as the Whole Time Member, Securities & Exchange Board of India (SEBI) from 2004 to 2006.
He has also served the Board of Companies like Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) from July 2006 to July 2009, Kribhco Shyam Fertilizer Limited from September 2007 to November 2009, Rajasthan Infrastructure Development Company (RIDCO), Government of Rajasthan Undertaking from 2008 and several other important positions.
